The salon was founded by Nathan Richardson, a highly experienced and creatively driven stylist with over 20 years in the hairdressing industry. Nathan’s craft was honed at the world-renowned Vidal Sassoon brand, where he began his career as a Creative Stylist at age 24. Over the years at Sassoon he was promoted to Creative Director, leading hair design development and educating emerging stylists across major UK cities and at the Sassoon Academy in London.

Nathan’s training and work took him around the globe — from North America to Europe — teaching trends, techniques and translating artistic vision into practical, wearable results. Whether working on editorial projects or in salon settings, his attention to detail, deep understanding of shape and commitment to suitability define the salon’s ethos.

As part of the salon’s journey, Nathan was named a finalist in the North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year category at the British Hairdressing Awards 2025, recognising his creativity, technical excellence and influence in the craft.
